Held in the purpose built studio at Bear It In Mind
These workshops are aimed at the enthusiastic beginner ( basic sewing skill are needed). You will be making your very own collectable mohair bear (an exclusive Hairy Hugs design). I will be showing you traditional bear making techniques such as cotter pin and string jointing, glass eye fixing, stuffing and nose stitching.
Courses are held at Bear It In Mind, in the shop's adjoining character studio. Lunch is included in the price along with refreshments throughout the day. Registration is from 9.30am with coffee on arrival and the class starts at 10.00am. (booking essential)
The cost of our the one day workshop is £80.00 per person (payable in advance) which covers everything you need including lunch and refreshments.
You should go home with a completed bear but in the event of you not finishing in the time allowed, we can offer support over the phone or via email.
Once you have completed the one day workshop, use your new found skills to make C.P Duffy a more advanced mohair bear over two Saturdays. (with a little homework!) £120.00 per person.
