BFF Bartie (best friends forever) 2013

Introducing the seventh in the series of annual collectable bears, We are pleased to introduce BFF Bartie to our customers.  Hand made using sparse dusty gold mohair; BFF represents the lifelong love that a teddy will bring to his owner and the very necessary service that Bear It In Mind business provides in terms of cleaning, restoration and repair.

With his wistful gaze, saggy tum and bandage, this new edition is sure to charm.  Each bear is made using glass eyes, cotter pin jointing and hand stitched details including nose, claws and ‘wounds’.  His paw and foot pads are made using gold coloured Ultrasuede and sport the Bear It In Mind logo and date and issue number which has been embroidered in red.

BFF Bartie Bristle comes to you wearing a beautiful light amber hollow glass bead around his neck. Representing a sweet honey lozenge, these necklaces are made for us by Confusion Glass of Lymington.

 Barties are not complete now without their own little Womin and this one will not disappoint.  (Womins are formed when materials used during the production or restoration of a teddy bear collect in the corners of the studio and are left to their own devices.  They are very friendly, a little mischievous and delightful companions for your favourite bear.)
